Cyndi Lieske, MA, LMSW (She/Her)
Nurturing Growth Through Self-Compassion and Play
Cyndi is a fully licensed clinical social worker in Michigan and a Registered Play Therapist credentialed through the Association for Play Therapy. She works with kids, teens, and adults, and brings experience with a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions.
At the heart of Cyndi’s work is self-compassion. She helps clients become kinder to themselves and more aware of what they feel and need, building a steady foundation for healing. From there, she works side by side with each client to find the tools and approaches that fit them best.
Cyndi draws on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Self-Compassion, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. For younger clients, play therapy offers a natural way to express what can be hard to put into words.
